Bernstein Autonomous is seeking exceptional talent to join one of our premier Equity Research teams. We are hiring a full-time Research Associate for our Japanese Financials team, led by Hideyasu Ban. Our teams are deliberately lean — typically two to three professionals — so you will carry genuine responsibility from day one and make a direct, meaningful impact on the quality and direction of our work.

• Analyze and forecast performance across Japanese financials and other financial institutions
• Build and maintain financial models that incorporate evolving business and macro conditions
• Conduct deep-dive research into specific topics within the banking sector and Japan’s broader macro-financial system
• Write clear, well-reasoned research reports that communicate findings and investment views to clients
• Present published research to external and internal clients through presentations, meetings, and calls
• Fulfill bespoke client research requests
