Vice President - Software Banking

Job description

Technology Investment banking is a core business line of GLBA; responsible for the origination and execution of all tech related investment banking transactions by Societe Generale Americas. The emphasis will be the broader software sector within Technology Investment Banking. This will include equity origination [IPO’s Follow-Ons], M&A and Leveraged Finance debt origination. The group is fully integrated into the broader bank and will work closely with our product group and on a cross-border basis with groups in Europe and Asia.

Work closely with ECM, DCM & M&A to organize our content and focus on the Software sector, including peers comps, trading activity and transaction comps Keep abreast of market developments, capital markets activity, M&A announcements and investor sentiment around software.

Point person on the coverage team responsible for organizing and putting together client presentations, marketing materials and relevant pitches for new business Actively prospect and develop new client relationships, while also contributing to content generation

• Conduct and model a broad range of corporate financing alternatives and due diligence for client transactions Financial modeling and valuation analyses as well as software specific analysis such as relevant KPI analysis
• Develop and participate in client pitches to advise on investment banking transactions
• Work on/play a key role transaction execution
• Build strong relationships with colleagues in Europe and Asia, and among the U.S. banking teams
