The Opportunity When you join Smurfit Westrock, you will be joining a team that creates sustainable paper and packaging solutions that help move the world forward. In this role, you will play a key role in securing finished products for shipment. You’ll operate banding equipment, ensure quality standards, and help keep production moving efficiently. You will work closely with multiple departments and play an important role in meeting production goals and customer needs.

Starting Pay

How You Will Make an Impact Operate banding machines to strap and secure corrugated or paperboard products. Inspect bundles for proper alignment, band tension, and labeling. Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance. Maintain accurate production records. Commitment to good housekeeping in the department.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to meet work schedule, travel, or location requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing or packaging experience preferred. Experience with relevant systems, tools, equipment, or methodologies Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
