Job description

Specialized Inspection

Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on TKY joints (tubular connections), including shear wave scanning.

Aramco Standards

Ensure all inspections comply with strict Saudi Aramco standards, such as SATIP-NDE-UT-01.

Data Analysis

Evaluate and document inspection findings for piping, structural steel, or vessel joints.

Procedures

Follow established UT procedures for butt joints and T-K-Y connections, often in offshore or heavy industrial environments.

Qualifications

Aramco Approval

A valid Aramco approval card as a UT Technician is mandatory, specifically for TKY joints.

Certification

ASNT/PCN Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

Experience

8 to 10 years of experience in NDT, particularly with UT TKY joints in oil and gas projects.
