Job Title

Laboratory Support Job Type: Permanent Location: Glasgow Hours : 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday Industry: Health & Nutrition, Life Science Please note: Due to the nature of the role and operational requirements, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application. We're looking for a reliable and organised individual to support our laboratory team by helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

This is a hands-on support role focused on housekeeping, stock control, and general laboratory maintenance rather than scientific testing.

What You'll Do

Keep laboratory areas clean, tidy, and compliant with procedures. Manage and replenish laboratory stock and consumables. Prepare basic laboratory materials and reagents following instructions. Handle waste disposal and support autoclave activities. Complete routine documentation and records accurately. Support scientists by ensuring labs are organised and ready for daily activities.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Experience in a laboratory support, cleaning, housekeeping, facilities, or similar environment. Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high standards. Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach. Comfortable following procedures and working safely. A team player who enjoys supporting others.
