To assist the Supervisor/Laboratory Manager with all tasks, whether it’s on site or in the commercial laboratory. To clean all equipment on a regular basis. To prepare samples as and when required for testing. The assistant will ensure that the laboratory is clean at all times and will carry out all work-related instructions from the technicians.
Qualifications
Grade 12 or Technical equivalent Fluent in Portuguese and English Competencies Must be capable to understand, implement and maintain the quality system requirements after training. Must be able to understand, implement and maintain the Civil Engineering Test Methods after training (eg SANS, THN 1) Sampling and preparation experience advantageous Must be physically willing and able to work with, pick up and move samples as and when required.
