Job description

We seek a Director of Product Management to set and lead the product strategy for the Microsoft partnership across ServiceNow's full vertical stack, from data and AI through agents, governance, and industry-specific workflows. This is an individual contributor role with enterprise-wide scope and executive-level influence. You are the senior product leader and definitive internal authority on how ServiceNow's platform aligns with Microsoft's product stack end-to-end.

The scope is intentionally broad and will shift as both companies' product stacks evolve. Rather than a fixed list of integration points, this role is defined by a mandate: wherever ServiceNow's stack and Microsoft's stack meet, you are accountable for the product relationship. You'll partner with product marketing, business development, corporate development, and other functions to define and execute the engagement strategy, track execution milestones, and maximize value generated for ServiceNow, our customers, and Microsoft.

You will serve as ServiceNow's senior product counterpart to Microsoft product leadership.

What you get to do in this role

Set the strategy for and lead technical due diligence, roadmap alignment, and integration delivery across the Microsoft relationship, from qualification through activation-ready handoff to GTM, spanning whichever stack layers are active priorities at a given time, not a fixed set. Establish and continuously evolve the enterprise view of where ServiceNow's stack and Microsoft's stack intersect, so the organization always has one owner and one point of view on the relationship rather than fragmented, layer-by-layer ownership.

Drive dual-roadmap alignment

translate Microsoft's capability and platform changes into internal roadmap asks, and translate ServiceNow's platform roadmap into Microsoft-facing requirements. Define and advocate ServiceNow's point of view on how Microsoft's stack complements (rather than overlaps with) our platform, and articulate that positioning clearly to internal and partner stakeholders. Define success metrics and measure downstream customer-funnel signals (adoption, attach rate, win/loss) across the partnership in partnership with GPC and field, and use them to drive roadmap and investment decisions.

Own prioritization and resourcing recommendations across this broad scope, and decide, with leadership, where to go deep now versus defer. Communicate the rationale clearly. Shape and recommend leadership-level decisions on deeper strategic engagement with Microsoft (investment, co-sell motions, joint roadmap commitments). Track competitive and industry trends across the Microsoft ecosystem, and define the implications and response for partnership strategy.

Lead cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Platform, Product Marketing, and GTM BD across the many teams whose work touches the Microsoft relationship. Represent ServiceNow in executive and strategic customer and partner engagements where Microsoft-specific technical context is needed, without owning the deal.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: Demonstrated ability to operate across a wide, multi-layered product scope without needing it reduced to a fixed checklist, with comfort synthesizing a coherent strategy across data, AI, agents, governance, and application-layer partnership work. 15+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS product management, with working knowledge of key SaaS growth drivers. Track record of setting multi-year product strategy and influencing decisions at VP and C-level, internally and at partner or customer organizations.

Experience critically integrating AI into product decision-making, workflow design, or technical evaluation of partner solutions. Experience leading product strategy for technology partnerships, including build-vs-partner analysis, technical due diligence, and integration architecture. Experience owning business cases for partnership investment, including accountability for outcomes, combining analytical rigor with judgment under ambiguity.

Comfortable operating with dual accountability

influencing an internal roadmap you don't own and a partner roadmap you don't control, across an unusually broad set of stack layers. Highly collaborative; able to drive alignment and decisions across many internal teams at the senior leadership level without direct authority over the people or teams involved. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent partnership rationale clearly to both technical and executive audiences, including translating across very different technical domains.

Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire teams and senior stakeholders across a broad, evolving scope. Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform and applications portfolio, and the associated competitive/partner landscape, is a plus. Broad familiarity with Microsoft's AI, data, and agent product ecosystem is a strong plus. Depth in a few areas plus fluency across the rest is more valuable here than deep expertise in only one.

Hands-on product management experience with AI-powered or AI-enabled enterprise software is a strong plus. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $221,200 - $387,100 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
