Role Objective

Participate in a structured 1-year internship program that bridges academic learning with hands-on shop floor experience. Develop professional competencies and foundational manufacturing engineering skills. Work under the guidance of experienced engineers to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you do

Assist in analyzing production workflows to improve line efficiency and reduce waste. Support Kaizen events, layout optimization projects, and cycle-time balancing initiatives. Help create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance activities. Contribute to process improvement projects and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

What qualifications will make you successful

Currently enrolled in a diploma or bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Available to commit to a full 1-year internship placement. Possess a basic understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and engineering fundamentals. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic Microsoft Office applications.

Have effective communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
