Job description

We help the world run better At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong.

What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) is SAP's global, strategic, paid internship program, which provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. Explore SAP's innovative solutions and discover more about SAP as a dynamic technology company and potential full-time employer.

What you'll bring You're a student with a genuine interest in compliance and corporate governance, available to work at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 4 months. You're curious, collaborative, and a clear communicator — someone who thinks creatively and tackles complex problems head on. You bring strong research skills and extreme attention to detail — proficient in Microsoft Office and committed to accuracy in written documentation.

You work independently on complex investigations, interpreting written guidelines and delivering clear, well-structured findings. You have a solid grasp of business ethics, code of conduct principles, and current compliance practices. You put partners and stakeholders at the centre of your work — asking the right questions to deliver what matters. You have an open mindset toward AI — you're willing to experiment, collaborate with AI tools, and take responsibility for the outputs you produce.

Full proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for this role. What you'll build You'll work on live compliance cases supporting SAP's partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific Japan and Greater China, gaining real experience in anti-corruption compliance within a global enterprise. Gather and analyse information to validate the legitimacy and compliance commitment of SAP's channel partners. Review SAP system and third-party data to identify potential red flags tied to specific partners and sales transactions.

Escalate findings to OEC Field Officers and business management for review, mitigation, and decision-making. Verify adequate partner involvement in sales transactions with SAP end customers. Monitor global compliance trends to surface insights for leadership knowledge forums and newsletters. Track and report team productivity metrics to OEC management and supported market units. Where you belong The Diligence, Screening and Assurance team sits within SAP's Office of Ethics and Compliance, focused on the SAP Code of Business Conduct and anti-corruption laws including the FCPA and UK Bribery Act.

You'll work alongside compliance specialists across Asia Pacific Japan and Greater China, with real responsibilities from day one. When you join SAP, you'll be part of SAP Next Gen — a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. This role is based at Wheelock Square, Shanghai. #SAPiXpChina #SAPNextGen Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
