Job Title

Supplier Quality Engineer Job Purpose: Responsible for driving all supplier Quality Activities, including working with PCB, PCBA, Cables, Sheet Metal, Precision Machining, connectors, plastics, and electronic components such as IC, BGA, Capacitor, Resistors, Inductors both SMT and through Hole.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

Manage effectively the Supplier Performance Programs, including SCAR closure timeliness and metrics Ensure supplier process controls provide 100% acceptance to Customer requirements. Drive division-wide supplier Quality issues and improvements to resolution Participate in Corporate Quality Audit improvement actions. Maintain and Improve supplier metrics, specifically QPPM and OTD targets Education and Experience: 5+yrs experience as Supplier Quality Engineer Experience with 5S, FMEA, Cpk, GR&R etc.

Experience leading and guiding a group of Receiving Inspection personnel Expertise in First Article process (Mostly for mechanical parts) Knowledge in metrology Progressively advanced experience in indirectly managing people. Effective presentations skills Six Sigma training and experience BS in engineering or related field. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
