At OMNIA Training, we’ve brought together some of the UK’s most innovative defence training organisations into a single consortium to deliver one powerful mission: to transform the British Army’s training system and create the best-trained Army in the world. OMNIA Training will redefine the British Army’s collective training, standing up as the Army’s Strategic Training Partner. To do that, we are looking for the best and brightest minds from across the UK.
We are backed by British innovation and powered by world-class experts, like you. OMNIA Training is primed by Raytheon UK, but all five partners (Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus) are key to delivering the scope of the contract. Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the Training Delivery aspect of the contract, and this role will be fundamental in enabling this as part of a Rheinmetall Programme team.
This is more than a job — it’s a mission. You will be part of a high-impact, collaborative environment, where we expect everyone to live the values and standards of the British Army. Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.
The Role
The role is the Government Furnished Asset (GFA) Manager; this role will be responsible for ensuring GFA issued to REUK is managed appropriately. The Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Government Furnished Equipment and company assets across the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme. The role ensures compliance with MOD standards and supports the delivery of training capabilities through effective asset governance, tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities & Tasks Maintain and update the Rheinmetall Public Stores Account (PSA) in accordance with DEF STAN 05-099 and DEFCON 694. Oversee the delivery, receipt, inspection, acceptance, rejection and return of GFA using MOD Forms (e.g. 650, 651, 750). Produce company procedures and processes for handling GFA. Manage loss, status and disposal reporting. Collaborate with the Omnia GFA Lead, Site Custodians, customer representatives and supply chain partners to ensure accurate asset tracking and accountability.
Provide input into obsolescence management activities. Work with the Export Manager to ensure compliance with export control regulations. Work with the commercial and subcontract managers to ensure compliance with IP governance requirements. Oversee asset audits and reporting.
