Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Job Function

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through responsive, reliable service
• Collaborate with Outside Sales and Inside Sales Manager to respond to quotes and fulfill orders accurately
• Interpret customer material applications and relay internal needs using AS400 and Salesforce™ Maintain updated and accurate customer data in the AS400 system
• Support customer satisfaction through clear communication, inventory coordination, and timely delivery
• Understand our division’s capabilities to make informed, quality-driven decisions Effectively respond to urgent customer needs and changing priorities

Required Skills

• Proficient in AS400, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required Entry Level, but 1-2 years of experience in steel or industrial sales preferred Additional Skills

• Ability to explain and present information clearly in both one-on-one and group settings Basic math and data analysis skills
