Data Platform Administration Manager

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Required

• 7–10 years of experience in platform administration, data platform operations, or similar enterprise roles.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise data platforms that enable data products, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Solid understanding of data security, identity and access management, and enterprise data governance practices.
• Experience operating in complex, regulated, or global environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Data Product Managers, Data Engineering, Analytics, Scrum, Security, and Governance teams. Required Platforms & Expected Proficiency The role requires hands-on operational expertise across the following platforms: Must Have (Hands-on / Admin-level)
• Databricks – workspace administration, access control, job/service monitoring, and environment governance
• Microsoft Azure – identity & access (AAD), resource management, security controls, and platform operations relevant to data ecosystems Must Have (Operational Ownership / Strong Working Knowledge)
• Power BI – workspace governance, capacity management, dataset access control, and operational oversight Good to Have (Operational Integration & Oversight)
• SODA (or equivalent data quality / observability tooling) – monitoring integrations, alerting support, operational triage
• Atlan (or equivalent data catalog / metadata platform) – access enablement, operational support, and governance alignment ________________________________________ Preferred
• Experience in retail, consumer goods, or other data intensive industries.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale, cloud-native data ecosystems.
• Experience supporting multiple teams or domains on a shared data platform.
• Certifications related to cloud platforms, data engineering, platform operations, or security (nice to have).
