Overview

To efficiently convert wheat into high-quality flour that meets all customer specifications, Safety, Food safety and Quality standards, and production requirements, while maximizing extraction rates, optimizing costs, and minimizing waste to ensure sustainable and profitable operations.

Responsibilities

• Control grist & product quality parameters
• Monitor and manage the Cleaning and Conditioning process
• Maintain, monitor and Operate Milling equipment
• Compile and execute milling plan and control wheat milling processes for shift
• Control raw material & finished stock levels & rotation for shift Maintain Food safety, safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance
• Optimize people, process, machinery and equipment Manage Discipline within the Team Qualifications Grade 12 Trade Certificate in Wheat Milling
• Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000 and quality management systems.

IT and computer skills GMF/ SAGMA Advanced Milling Qualification will be advantageous
