Requisition Summary PERFORMS A WIDE VARIETY OF COMPLEX MAINTENANCE WORK TO REPAIR AND/OR MAINTAIN MACHINERY OR PLANT FACILITY, WORKING UNDER MINIMAL SUPERVISION. MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WORK FROM ELECTRICAL AND HYDRAULIC SCHEMATICS. THIS IS NOT A MAINTENANCE TRAINING PROGRAM. APPLICANTS MUST BE FULLY QUALIFIED. Job Functions / Responsibilities WORK FROM COMPLICATED DIAGRAMS, DRAWINGS, AND SPECIFICATIONS PERFORM A VARIETY OF COMPLEX MAINTENANCE WORK TO REPAIR MACHINERY, INCLUDING ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS MAINTAIN PLANT FACILITY, INCLUDING HVAC, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL MAINTAIN AND OPERATE TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO PERFORM TASKS DIAGNOSE PROBLEMS USING APPROPRIATE TESTING EQUIPMENT BEFORE MAKING NECESSARY REPAIRS DESIGN, FABRICATE, AND WELD NECESSARY PARTS AND EQUIPMENT FOR PLANT MACHINERY AND FACILITY.

REQUIRES THE USE OF SHOP MATH KNOWLEDGE AND DEMONSTRATED SKILL TROUBLESHOOTING EQUIPMENT CONTAINING PLC’S, VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVES, AND AUTOMATION IS REQUIRED. Skills / Competencies Education GRADUATION FROM HIGH SCHOOL SUPPLEMENTED BY APPROPRIATE TECHNICAL SCHOOL TRAINING. DEMONSTRATED UNDERSTANDING OF SHOP PRACTICES, INCLUDING GENERAL ELECTRICAL, ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS, MECHANICAL SYSTEMS, HYDRAULICS, HVAC, SIMPLE FABRICATION, AND SHOP MATH.
