System Development & Support

• Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 / RPGLE-based payment applications
• Support daily operations, incident resolution, and defect fixes
• Understand and support end-to-end payment processing flows
• Maintain and upgrade applications to ensure system stability, availability and performance
• Provide technical support during testing, implementation and post-production activities

Payments Integration

• Work on payment systems integration (e.g.

SWIFT, PayNet, MyClear)

• Support integration using MQ, batch processing (Control-M), and file-based integrations
• Ensure stability and data integrity across systems

Modernization Support

• Develop and support RESTful APIs, microservices and modern integration services
• Contribute to modernization initiatives by transforming legacy payment capabilities into reusable service-based components
• Build robust backend services, APIs, and database solutions to support evolving business requirements

Engineering Practices

• Participate in full SDLC (development, testing, deployment, support) and Agile
• Troubleshoot technical issues across application stack
• Follow secure coding standards, application vulnerability controls, and compliance requirements 5–10 years of experience in software development Hands-on experience in AS400 / RPGLE or legacy banking platforms Hands-on experience with payment schemes: SWIFT, RENTAS, IBG, DuitNow, FPX, or JomPAY Experience in banking/payments systems
• Knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, integration tools (MQ / batch processing)
