How you succeed Succeed by embracing a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You’ll need to quickly grasp complex processes and translate them into tactical solutions. Focus on delivering accurate, timely support to the Front Office, while consistently seeking ways to improve existing workflows. Collaboration and clear communication will be key to delivering value and building strong working relationships. What you do You will be directly involved in supporting our Solutions & Automation team with: Developing tactical fixes and enhancements to Front Office trading and sales processes.

Designing and building dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau. Creating automated monitoring tasks and performing testing/QA activities. Utilising Excel VBA and Python for data extraction, analysis, and automation. Exploring and implementing AI prompt coding solutions for enhanced efficiency. Supporting special project initiatives as needed. Who you work with OCBC Global Markets encompasses Treasury Advisory and Institutional Sales, Asset Liability Management, Trading, and Business Management.

Who you are Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Technically proficient in Excel VBA and Python. Experienced with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Demonstrated ability in data analytics and creating clear presentations. Familiar with AI prompt coding and solutions design. A proactive learner with a strong attention to detail.

Learning Objectives This internship will provide you with: Practical application of data analytics and automation skills in a financial services context. Experience collaborating with Front Office teams to understand and solve business challenges. Exposure to the full project lifecycle – from design to implementation and testing. Development of problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
