You will partner with business leaders across data center development, real estate, networking, engineering, procurement, finance, and operations to structure and negotiate complex infrastructure transactions.

This role combines hands-on legal execution with strategic leadership, helping Oracle deliver infrastructure capacity while managing commercial, operational, and regulatory risk.

Key Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure transactions: Structure, draft, and negotiate complex agreements supporting data center acquisition, development, leasing, colocation, expansion, and operations.

Advise on development and operations

Support construction, engineering, equipment procurement, maintenance, and facilities services agreements, coordinating with specialist counsel on real estate, energy, environmental, and permitting matters.

Manage transaction risk

Advise on service levels, delivery milestones, acceptance criteria, warranties, liability, indemnities, insurance, termination rights, and business continuity protections.

Coordinate regulatory advice

Work with internal specialists and external counsel to assess telecommunications licensing, infrastructure approvals, competition, privacy, security, trade compliance, and other applicable requirements.

Lead cross-border matters

Coordinate legal support across jurisdictions and manage external counsel to deliver consistent, timely, and cost-effective advice.

Improve contracting processes

Support dispute resolution

Advise on contractual performance issues, claims, and disputes in partnership with litigation counsel and relevant business teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Substantial post-qualification legal experience, typically 8 to 10 years, including significant responsibility for complex data center infrastructure, real estate, telecommunications, or technology transactions. Demonstrated experience negotiating data center, colocation, network connectivity, or comparable large-scale infrastructure agreements. Strong commercial judgment and the ability to assess legal risk in the context of business priorities.

Experience advising senior stakeholders and managing complex negotiations involving multiple internal and external parties. Ability to lead concurrent, time-sensitive matters across jurisdictions and work effectively with technical and operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a hyperscale cloud provider, data center developer or operator, telecommunications provider, or infrastructure investor. Experience with build-to-suit data centers, powered-shell leases, wholesale colocation, and long-term capacity commitments. Familiarity with terrestrial or subsea fiber arrangements, network access rights, and telecommunications regulatory frameworks. Experience with construction and energy-related agreements supporting large infrastructure projects.

A combination of leading law firm and multinational in-house legal experience. Experience establishing legal processes and managing external legal budgets across multiple markets. #LI-DNI
