Job description

 Job Summary: onsemi is looking for a QA/QC Operator. The role of the QA/QC Operator is primarily to manage the test wafer flows that allow the Fab to maintain and test the production equipment. Additionally, the QA/QC Operator will coordinate with Fab Operators to provide direction on loading wafers into production equipment, verify product specs with equipment settings monitor the process-pace/productivity, and help recognize when something is out of adjustment.

Performance Objectives This opportunity will require the QA/QC Operator to have the following performance objectives: Must be able to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a cleanroom environment. Hardworking, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge. The ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of activity and demands. Must have a solid understanding of the value of working within a team environment.

Manage, clean, and pre-read test wafers to support fab operations. Wearing cleanroom garments is necessary to protect hair, dry skin, etc. from contaminating the product (wafers).

Qualifications

 Requirements: The position works a compressed day (7am-7pm) or night (7pm-7am) shift. Each shift is 12 hours per day; alternating 3 working days one week and 4 working days the next week. On occasion, the position may require a variation from the normal compressed work week to support other shifts. Arriving on shift at the scheduled time and punctuality from breaks and lunches is mandatory to always ensure appropriate coverage.
