Software Development Intern - Network Infrastructure & IP Networks Location: Bratislava, Slovakia (Hybrid)

Part-time internship Start date: Flexible This internship is best suited for students in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or those pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

Design and develop software components for network infrastructure solutions. Contribute to cloud-native applications, automation tools, and management platforms. Participate in feature development, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Collaborate with experienced engineers in an agile development environment. Work with modern development tools, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

Use modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews. Experiment with the latest AI-powered technologies to improve developer productivity and software quality. Contribute to automation initiatives that use machine learning and generative AI where appropriate. Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

A student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related technical field. Knowledge of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design principles. Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, C, or C++. Familiarity with Linux environments. Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Good written and spoken English. Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

Understanding of computer networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching. Experience with containers and cloud technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes. Personal projects, open-source contributions, or participation in coding competitions.
