Job description

As a Program Manager, you will play a vital role in organizing and managing intricate hardware development processes. Your work will have a direct impact on product strategy and design, with high visibility within the organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and external suppliers, to ensure seamless execution from prototypes to New Product Introduction (NPI).

Responsibilities

Organize and drive complex logistical challenges in hardware development, spanning from prototypes to NPI. Support the Hardware Program Lead and Designers in executing programs, including supplier engagement and prototype planning. Serve as a key liaison between internal and external teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Manage integrated program schedules across ASIC development, hardware design, operations, and manufacturing teams.

Act as the primary point of contact for ASIC suppliers and external partners, leading supplier meetings and tracking commitments. Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain Management to negotiate contracts, ensure component delivery, and develop distribution plans. Prepare regular program status reports, dashboards, and executive updates to keep stakeholders informed. Identify and resolve issues independently, ensuring timely and efficient program execution.

Excel in a fast-paced environment, driving complex programs with minimal supervision. Foster a proactive and innovative approach to hardware development and problem-solving.

Qualifications

B.Sc or B.Eng in Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 15 years of program management experience in ASIC, IC, hardware, or technology development is essential. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills are a must. Ability to independently prioritize tasks, drive execution, and resolve issues with minimal guidance. Experience in managing schedules, risks, budgets, dependencies, and supplier relationships is preferred.

Direct experience with ASIC or IC development programs is highly advantageous. Familiarity with system-level hardware development and manufacturing processes is desirable. Knowledge of product lifecycle management, qualification processes, and supply chain operations is a plus. Experience working with semiconductor suppliers, foundries, packaging, or test partners is beneficial. A proactive, self-starting attitude and a passion for driving complex projects to success.
