Onsite 3 miles South Junct. Hwy. 16 & 2 Colonsay, SK S0K 0Z0 Canada.

Work schedule

12 hours rotating shift. Underground Operator 3 The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of an Underground Operator in an assigned area on an assigned rotational shift.

What you’ll do

Demonstrated Aptitude for safety Demonstrate they are physically fit and capable of lifting Complete training on hand and power activated tools Complete exam and task sheets on equipment as required. Keep the work area safe and clean. Train and operate mobile equipment safely and effectively. Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to mate written reports as required Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.

Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied.

What you’ll need

Grade 12 or equivalent Demonstrate aptitude for safety The ability necessary to progress through the Lines of Progression Underground Potash mining experience considered an asset The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally. Able to climb stairs and work at various heights. Able to distinguish varying or specific colors, patterns, or materials. Able to hear, with or without correction. Able to read, write and understand basic English.

Able to see, with or without correction. Able to use fine hand motor skills. Able to wear a respirator. Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required. Must be able to work a 12-hour shift. Must be authorized to work in Canada.
