CE Field Service Engineer

Job description

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems within a data center environment, ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs
• Ensure uptime and reliability of critical environment systems through proactive monitoring, maintenance oversight, and risk mitigation
• Lead operational excellence by executing and governing processes such as maintenance procedures, incident reviews (RCAs), and change management
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, vendors, and landlord partners to optimize datacenter performance and resolve issues
• Identify and reduce risk, minimizing human-error and high-impact incidents year over year
• Support emergency response readiness, acting as an escalation point for facilities-related incidents
• Deliver efficiency outcomes by advancing cost optimization and energy efficiency initiatives and support data-driven operations through the accurate measurement and reporting of key metrics, including power, temperature, and service-level (SLA) performance
• Bachelor's Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services Experience working on large scale industrial projects OR industry experience in a datacenter This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English You will be required to travel between sites as part of this role so a valid driver's license will be required.
