Trackhoe / Loader Combo Operator

Job description

FNF Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing heavy civil construction services throughout the Southwestern United States. We are seeking a journeyman-level Trackhoe Operator with a minimum of 5 years in underground experience. A trackhoe operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, grade, and prepare land for construction projects, requiring strong skills in equipment handling and safety protocols.

Operate Heavy Equipment

Maneuver the trackhoe to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading materials, and grading land.

Site Preparation

Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and ensuring the area is safe for other workers.

Maintenance

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the trackhoe to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking fluid levels and cleaning the equipment.

Safety Compliance

Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Physical Fitness

Must be physically fit to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery and working in various weather conditions.

Problem-Solving Skills
