The Senior Operations Finance Manager provides strategic and financial leadership across a major program or project, business unit area/region, or complex portfolio.

The role owns the quality and consistency of financial planning, forecasting, project controls integration, compliance, and performance reporting; advises senior operations leaders; and drives corrective action where execution and financial expectations diverge. This position develops managers and analysts and leads scalable improvements across processes, systems, and governance.

Responsibilities

Direct operations finance activities across a major program or project, business unit area, or complex portfolio, or multiple operating groups. Advise business leaders on financial tradeoffs, resource deployment, contract performance, change recovery, investment decisions, and strategic priorities. Ensure consistent application of revenue recognition, project accounting, forecasting, risk, and internal control requirements. Identify systemic performance trends and lead cross-functional responses with operations, project controls, accounting, commercial, procurement, and leadership.

Develop scalable dashboards, decision-support tools, governance routines, and management reporting. Lead annual planning, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and business-case development for assigned operations. Manage and develop finance managers and senior analysts; build succession depth and consistent capability across the team. Sponsor cross-portfolio finance transformation, system implementation, and process standardization initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Broad leadership capability across operations finance, project accounting, forecasting, and business performance. Strong executive judgment and ability to translate complex operational issues into financial implications and decisions. Demonstrated success leading managers and building high-performing finance teams. Expert knowledge of construction or EPC project economics, controls, revenue recognition, and cash management.

Ability to establish governance and drive adoption across multiple projects or operating groups. Strong executive communication, facilitation, and influence skills.
