Job description

A screed operator, also known as an asphalt screed operator, is responsible for operating the screed (a device that levels and spreads asphalt) on a paving machine. They adjust the screed to ensure the asphalt is spread evenly and at the correct thickness, contributing to a smooth and consistent road surface.

Operating the Screed

Adjusting and manipulating controls on the screed to level and spread asphalt.
