Hours

6:30am - 6:30pm -- 55–60-hour work weeks Pay: $23-$26 an hour Surface Haul Truck Driver Are you someone who likes to work with others? Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Surface Heavy Equipment Operator at Auxvasse South Quarry in Auxvasse, MO.

This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a valid driver's license Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred 1 + years related experience Valid US driver's license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations Effective verbal communication
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Physical Abilities
