Our Equity and Derivatives Trading Technology team delivers the platforms and services that power trading, pricing, market connectivity, risk management and client-facing capabilities across our global business. In this role you will lead the global technology organisation supporting Equity and Derivatives Trading, with accountability for strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery and production support.

You will partner directly with senior business and technology leaders across APAC, EMEA and the Americas to shape investment priorities, accelerate product innovation and deliver technology that supports business growth, client activity and new market opportunities. You will lead the modernisation of trading platforms, strengthen engineering and operational excellence, and ensure the resilience, performance and controls expected within a global front-office trading environment.

You will also drive the practical adoption of AI, automation and data-driven capabilities to improve engineering productivity, trading outcomes and client experiences. As a senior leader, you will build an inclusive, high-performing culture, develop future leaders and create an environment where teams can do their best work. Significant leadership experience in equities trading technology, with deep expertise across equity derivatives, synthetics and prime services, supported by a strong understanding of the associated front-office workflows, products and risk frameworks.

Deep knowledge of equity derivatives trading technology, including pre-trade analytics, pricing, execution, market connectivity, electronic trading platforms and real-time risk management systems. Experience leading large, geographically distributed technology organisations across APAC, EMEA and/or the Americas, spanning engineering, architecture, delivery and production support within high-availability, market-facing environments.

Proven success modernising complex technology platforms and delivering large-scale transformation while maintaining operational resilience and service continuity. Strong commercial judgement with experience partnering with senior business leaders across multiple regions and markets, using technology, data and AI to support growth, innovation and better outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Demonstrated success leading technology organisations with global accountability, including engagement with stakeholders, teams and business partners across multiple international markets.
