Principal Test Engineer – RF & Microwave R&D Job Description: Setup, calibration and operation of microwave and millimeter-wave test systems in an IC design R&D environment. Equipment purchase, maintenance, calibration and laboratory management.
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan the efficient use of the measurement laboratory and equipment. Liaise with and advise design & product engineers on test plans. Set up and calibrate measurement systems for R&D testing. Assist with making measurements and processing test data. Assist with IC design troubleshooting. Manage annual equipment calibration schedules. Research and recommend new test equipment purchases.
