Market Analyst Intern

Job description

Position Responsibilities

• Data Processing & Analysis (45%) Review, clean, restructure and process large volumes of raw data; build logical frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Market Research (30%) Collect qualitative and quantitative intelligence on the latest trends in the premium beauty market, including competitor strategies, e‑commerce operations, consumer behaviors, etc.
• Report Development (20%) Translate data and insights into visually engaging charts, graphs, and PPT decks; develop clear, well‑structured narratives that support business recommendations.
• Other Support (5%) Assist with project management and cross‑brand communication tasks as needed.

Preferred profile

• Current bachelor’s (final year) or master’s student (1st or 2nd year; master’s preferred) from a top‑tier university, majoring in Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Excel proficiency – strong mathematical mindset; comfortable with massive data, pivot tables, and core formulas (VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, etc.).
• PowerPoint expertise – able to design various chart types with a clean layout; has basic storytelling skills to present data in a logical and persuasive manner.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) – capable to work with English.
• Professional work ethic – willing to tackle both simple and complex tasks with dedication and attention to detail.
• Quick learner, self‑motivated, accurate, and responsible; strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
