Job responsibilities Prepare Full Set of Accounting functions (AR, AP, GL, fixed assets) Responsible for month-end closing, accounts reconciliation and journal entries for South Asia entities, ensure full compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.

• Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations and proactively follow up any outstanding items to achieve a clean position for every month end closing
• Prepare month end reporting and disclosure timely with high level of accuracy
• Work with external tax agent and outsource accounting service consultant for direct and indirect tax filing for South Asia entities
• Liaise with external auditor on annual audit, statutory reporting and other local compliance works
• Support supervisors on control compliance, system implementation, process enhancement projects and any ad-hoc assignments Requirements: Degree holder in Accounting or Finance preferrable.

Qualified CPA/ACCA/CPAA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting role. Excel skill is essential and SAP user is definitely an advantage. Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Previous experience in MNC, Retail and book closing experience for other Asian markets is highly preferred. Local compliance experience including tax filing and statutory reporting is an added advantage.
