Responsibilities

As a product engineer for semiconductor lasers (including DFB lasers and electro-absorption modulator integrated lasers), you will be engaged in the following activities: Device characterization and performance analysis Data-driven process improvement and yield enhancement Root cause investigation and failure analysis Statistical analysis and trend monitoring (Depending on skill level) Development of data models or analysis automation, including machine learning.

Expected Background

BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in a science or engineering discipline Strong interest in semiconductor or optoelectronic devices, manufacturing, or data science Logical, analytical thinker with persistence in tackling complex technical challenges Expected Skill: Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Python, JMP, etc.) Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization Fluent Japanese speaker and Basic communication skills in English (reading/writing and participating in online meetings or email discussions)

Preferred Skills
