Counter Sales Associate / Back-up Driver

Job description

Occasionally perform local delivery duties, including coverage for driver vacations, absences, and urgent customer deliveries, transporting compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products; valid Class A or Class B CDL required.

You will perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments

• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations
