Job description

You will be responsible for ensuring the roadworthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the vehicle allocated to you In addition, you will complete daily pre-use inspection check sheets for your vehicle, as well as any specialised equipment required as part of your daily duties You will, where necessary, operate specialist BOC equipment such as forklift trucks and cranes to load and unload vehicles

• Apply defensive driving techniques and utilise your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road networks to ensure the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders
• Complete approximately 15-20 gas cylinder deliveries per day to customers within your designated area You will use safe manual handling techniques when delivering and collecting cylinders to and from customer sites Furthermore, you will be responsible for adhering to all Health & Safety policies, procedures and operational requirements
