Job description

Ensuring the roadworthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle. Completing daily pre-use inspection checks for the vehicle and any specialised equipment required as part of daily operations. Operating specialist BOC equipment, such as forklift trucks or cranes, where required for loading and unloading activities. Applying defensive driving techniques and maintaining compliance with commercial driving regulations to ensure the safe transportation and delivery of Special Gas drums.

Undertaking nationwide deliveries of Special Gas drums to customers across the UK, involving long-distance driving and regular overnight tramping. Planning and managing journeys effectively to meet customer requirements while maintaining compliance with driver hours and working time regulations. Adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures and operational standards at all times.
