Automation & Robotic Welding Service Technician

Job description

You will manage post-sale projects across the robotic integration network to ensure smooth deployment and timely resolution of issues

• Support automation sales by developing weld processes and application proofs in the lab to validate feasibility and optimize system performance
• Install, configure, and commission robotic, collaborative robot, and automation equipment while providing operator and maintenance training
• Assist in preparing system quotes and generating accurate bills of materials for automation projects You will perform scheduled inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance to maintain peak robotic system performance
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues across multiple robotic platforms
• Deliver responsive technical support and training throughout the lifecycle of customer robotic equipment
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex challenges and enhance system reliability You will be expected to maintain accurate service documentation including maintenance logs, repair records, and performance notes Uphold and enforce safety standards and protocols during all installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities You will support development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
