Tooling Technician

Job description

You will work with operations to develop a consumable tooling inventory system & upkeep across multiple departments You will be responsible for tool incoming inspection, storage, organization, and record keeping for disposal

• Support communication with vendors to coordinate tooling supply & delivery Accurately read and interpret technical drawings
• Generate purchase requests across multiple departments
• Facilitate tool disposal process through documentation & customer communication
• Work with multidisciplinary team to generate tooling demand based on customer forecast Correspond with internal and external teams to purchase tools as needed
• Maintain safety and quality focus in all tasks
• Must be safety-oriented and quality-focused Additional responsibilities as required
