Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your impact We are on the hunt for talented Software Test Engineers to support our Electronic Warfare line of business, working on a range of defence projects. Direct industry experience is not essential, we are happy to explore all backgrounds and help develop the right individuals. We want to develop a new generation of features and capabilities, you will be a key part in a community of world-class software engineers who will continuously improve, collaborate and innovate with other engineers to create market-leading products within the defence industry.

The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Security Clearance This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Security Check (SC). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for Developed Vetting (DV).
