Job Summary

Looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager to drive sales growth for its Switch & Switchgears business across Haryana. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in General Trade and Distribution Sales, with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and expanding channel networks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the assigned region.
• Develop and execute local sales strategies to increase market share.
• Manage and strengthen the General Trade and Distribution network.
• Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6–8 sales professionals.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Ensure effective secondary sales execution and distributor profitability.
• Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
• Plan and implement promotional activities and sales initiatives.
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely collections and healthy receivables.

Qualifications

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12–15 years of sales experience in Switch, Switchgear, Wires & Cables, Electrical, or Building Materials.
• Strong exposure to General Trade and Distribution Sales.
• Experience handling Haryana
• Experience managing a team of 6–8 members.
• Strong distributor network.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• MBA/ BE Preferred.
