BIM Modeller - HVAC

Job description

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks for HVAC modelling, detailing, and coordination.Develop detailed HVAC BIM models, including 3D views, sections, schedules, annotations, and drawing documentation.Create, customize, and maintain Revit families for HVAC equipment and components.Experience in modelling DX, VRF, chilled water, ventilation, and air/water distribution systems.Strong knowledge of HVAC low-side systems, including ductwork, piping, fittings, grilles, diffusers, louvers, and dampers, along with their sizing and selection.Prepare HVAC layouts, single-line diagrams, chilled water piping drawings, ventilation drawings, and P&IDs.Perform clash detection, interdisciplinary coordination, and clash resolution using BIM tools.Develop models to the required

Level of Development (LOD) and generate coordinated construction drawings.Produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, GFC drawings, and as-built drawings.Generate quantity take-offs and material estimates from BIM models.Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes, including ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, and NFPA.Convert BIM deliverables into required formats such as CAD, DWF, and PDF.Collaborate effectively with design engineers, BIM leads, and project teams, while independently managing assigned tasks.Experience with BIM 360 or similar

Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms is an added advantage.Working knowledge of duct sizing software, pipe sizing tools, and MS Office applications.Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, metro rail, and road tunnel projects is preferred.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
