Safety Superintendent

Job description

Safety Superintendent is responsible for leading and overseeing the overall HSE management system across all site operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations, project requirements and safety standards. The role involves planning, implementing and supervising safety strategies for high risk activities including deep station excavation, temporary works, confined spaces, heavy lifting operations, structural concrete pours and MEP fit-out works.

The superintendent ensures coordinated safety enforcement across multiple shifts, promoting consistent adherence to procedures and proactive risk control throughout station construction activities. Additionally, the role includes conducting high level inspections, guiding safety teams, reviewing risk assessments and method statements and ensuring effective communication of safety requirements across all levels of site personnel.

Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential to maintain a safe working environment and minimize operational risks.
