Roles and Responsibilities - MRO EngineerManage procurement and availability of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) itemsIdentify and source spares, consumables, and indirect materials for plant needsCoordinate with maintenance and production teams for requirements planningMaintain inventory levels and ensure critical spares availabilityTrack consumption trends and optimize stock levels to reduce costDevelop and manage vendor base for MRO suppliesEnsure timely PR/PO creation and follow-up for material deliveryMaintain records of MRO items, usage, and inventory in ERP systemSupport preventive and breakdown maintenance with quick material supplyEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirementsDrive cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing and negotiationsMaintain proper storage, identification, and 5S in MRO stores
Qualifications
Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
