Safety Superintendent

Job description

Safety Superintendent is responsible for leading and overseeing HSE operations across all site activities, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. The role involves supervising shift wide safety performance and implementing proactive risk management strategies for critical operations, including TBM drives, launching shaft activities, cross passages, confined spaces, heavy lifting and high voltage systems. The superintendent ensures strict adherence to project safety procedures and regulatory requirements, conducts regular inspections and audits and coordinates with site teams to address hazards and enforce corrective actions.

Additionally, the role includes guiding safety personnel, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring continuous monitoring and reporting of safety performance to support incident prevention and efficient project execution.
