HM Works - ferrule- fabrication Engineer

Job description

Proficient in monitoring alignment, dimensional control, and fitment of fabricated components to ensure compliance with approved drawings and tolerances. Experienced in conducting dimensional inspections, verifying critical measurements, and resolving fabrication issues to minimize rework and delays. Skilled in coordinating survey and alignment activities during fabrication and erection stages to ensure proper installation and functionality of HM components.Experienced in quality assurance and inspection activities, including preparation of inspection plans, monitoring hold points, and coordinating inspections with clients, consultants, and QA/QC teams.

Familiar with NDT methods such as VT, MT, PT, UT, and RT, including review of reports and implementation of corrective actions as required.Knowledgeable in surface preparation, blasting, painting, and protective coating systems for hydro-mechanical structures. Skilled in monitoring coating quality, thickness, and compliance with project specifications to ensure long-term corrosion protection.Experienced in maintaining project documentation, including material traceability records, welding records, inspection reports, NDT reports, quality dossiers, and progress reports.

Strong coordination skills with QA/QC, engineering, planning, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and timely completion of HM works in accordance with project requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE)
