Senior OHSE Manager

Job description

The Senior OHS&E Manager shall be responsible for leading and managing all Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) activities for the project. The role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring project-specific OHS&E plans, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, Employer's Requirements, contract specifications, and company standards. The incumbent shall conduct risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, emergency preparedness programs, and safety awareness campaigns.

The Senior OHS&E Manager will oversee safety personnel, monitor contractor compliance, review method statements and risk assessments, and ensure safe execution of tunneling, TBM, shaft, lifting, electrical, and construction activities. The role requires close coordination with the Client, Consultant, regulatory authorities, and project management team to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment while driving continuous improvement in safety performance and culture throughout the project.

Qualifications

Post Graduate Diploma in Fire and Safety (PGDFS); Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDIS)
