Junior Planning Engineer

Job description

Planning Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in EPC/construction projects to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordination. The candidate should have hands-on experience in planning E&M projects and be capable of working effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to prepare and maintain integrated project schedules.Understand E&M project deliverables, construction sequences, and inter-disciplinary interfaces.Track project progress, identify schedule deviations, and support recovery planning.Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and schedule analyses for project management.Support resource planning and monitor key project milestones.Participate in project review meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve planning-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.3–6 years of planning experience in EPC or construction projects, preferably in Electro-Mechanical (E&M) works.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).Good understanding of engineering deliverables, procurement, construction activities, and project execution sequences.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication and coordination skills.Self-motivated, willing to learn new tools and processes, and able to apply them effectively in project execution.
