RCF_IC_EHS Manager

Job description

The Lead – EHS – Site is responsible for end-to-end Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) implementation at a specific project site. The role ensures full compliance with statutory regulations, corporate policies, and safe work practices throughout the project lifecycle. The incumbent leads site-level risk identification, incident prevention, emergency response planning, and environmental protection initiatives. This role plays a key part in building a strong safety culture, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring all activities are executed with zero harm as the central objective.

EHS Implementation at Site

Ensure end-to-end execution of all site-level EHS plans, procedures, and compliance obligations in line with corporate policies and legal requirements. ?

Regulatory Compliance

Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation. Interface with statutory authorities during inspections and ensure zero non-compliances Risk Identification and Control: Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), implement mitigation measures, and regularly review work areas for unsafe conditions.?

Incident Management

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting.?

Training and Awareness

Organize site-specific EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Assess training effectiveness periodically.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering; B.Tech/B.E; Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDIS)
