P&M Superintendent

Job description

P&M Superintendent is responsible for leading and overseeing the operation, maintenance and management of plant and machinery to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production activities across the project. The role involves supervising the performance of critical equipment such as batching plants, casting beds, mould systems, steam curing facilities, gantry cranes and yard handling equipment, ensuring optimal reliability and productivity.

The superintendent coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages spare parts inventory and ensures timely servicing to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations. Additionally, the role includes monitoring equipment utilization, enforcing safety and operational standards, coordinating with production and engineering teams and implementing improvement measures to enhance efficiency and extend equipment lifecycle.
