Associate, IT Business Analyst Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Code: 43305 Job Location: Melbourne, FL Job Summary: We are currently seeking an Associate IT Business Analyst to join the IT Service Management (ITSM) team to coordinate ITSM audit and compliance activities. As an ITSM audit and compliance coordinator, you will work with audit teams and IT service area technical experts on audits of ITSM processes and controls. This is an ideal role for individuals interested in IT Service Management process design and operation; IT risk and control assessment; project management; and business analysis.

Job Description

Coordinate with Internal Audit, IT Security, IT Compliance, and external audit teams on audits involving IT Service Management processes. Manage and maintain a yearly audit planning calendar to ensure IT audit milestones are achieved. Track and manage all audit requests to completion. Prepare process documentation and IT control evidence to fulfill Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO, NIST, CMMC, and other audit/compliance requirements.

Query data from the ServiceNow system as part of IT control testing

• Perform operational ServiceNow user access reviews to fulfill IT compliance requirements
• Participate in annual IT process walkthrough meetings with external auditors for the Sarbanes-Oxley audit of IT General
• Controls over Financial Reporting.

Work with ITSM leadership to draft management’s response to auditor inquiries and/or audit findings. Assist ITSM leadership in developing ITSM process governance and policy documentation Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring process issues, design and operational gaps, and opportunities to improve ITSM processes.

Qualifications

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology Management or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to IT Service Management, business analysis, or project coordination through coursework, internships, or personal projects. Strong communication skills, listening skills, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Proficiency with common productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace. Basic understanding of software development, IT controls, and IT change management concepts Exposure to regulatory, operational, and security frameworks such as SOX, ISO, NIST, and CMMC, or the willingness to learn within the first year.
