Security Officer

Job description

JSW Steel is seeking to hire an experienced Security Officer to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the facility and perimeter.
• Meet, assist and direct, visitors, contractors, vendors and other entities upon arriving at the facility.
• Monitor and verify visitors, contractors and JSW personnel entering and leaving the facility.
• Monitor surveillance cameras.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on status and activities.
• Conduct various audits and inspections.
• Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Assist in expanding and driving a positive culture to Security and Safety.

Additional duties as identified by Management Requirements

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Have or be open to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED certified.
• Able to work under varying conditions including weather and hours.
• Capable of remaining calm during high pressure or tense situations with ability to deescalate situations.
• Able to stand, sit and walk for extended durations in various terrains.
• Open to work rotating shift schedule. (Days/Nights)
• Must have a Level 2 Security License or higher JSW Steel USA is an equal opportunity employer.
